Aim: How do we simplify numerical expressions with the graphing calculator?

QUIZ TOMORROW 9/26/13:

You will be assessed on writing algebraic expressions from word phrases and simplifying numerical expressions as well as some calculator functions.

Please be prepared with a sharpened pencil and BE ON TIME!!!

Homework:

You’ve won!  You get to choose between two prizes.  Which is the better prize?  Why?  Show or explain!!!

Prizes:

You get $60 immediately.

OR

You get $1 the first day.  Then, each day for the next five days, you get twice the previous day’s amount.
