Yesterday and today we learned about balancing chemical equations. Like any equation, both sides have to be equal. An unbalanced equation has a different number of one or more atoms on each side, so we have to put things back in order. To do so, you need to change the coefficients of each compound. Remember, the compounds come as a package deal. If you want Ag but your only source of Ag is AgI, you’ll get some I as part of the deal.
