How do we order food in Spanish?

 Aim: ¿Cómo ordenamos comida en un restaurante?

Do Now: Answer the following questions using the correct conjugation of Pedir and Servir.

1. ¿Qué pides en McDonalds? _______________________________

2. ¿Qué pide tu compañero/a (partner) en McDonalds? _______________________________

3. ¿Qué piden ustedes en Pizza Hut? ________________________________

4. ¿Qué sirve la cafeteria durante el almuerzo? ________________________________

5. ¿Qué sirven en Subway? _________________________________

Restaurant Dialogue – (Worth 20 points towards your final project grade)

Components

1. Greeting (Welcome everyone to the Restaurant)

2. Distribute menus

3. Server asks what customers would like to order

4. Customers order desired food (at least 2 items and a beverage)

5. Customers comment on how the food tastes. (Good, hot, salty, delicious…)

6. Customer asks for the check.

7. Customer hands server payment and says “thank you” and “goodbye”

8. Server says “You’re welcome” and “goodbye”

9. *Bonus* Add a desserts portion to your skit.

You will be graded on how well you covered all components, used the vocabulary, organization and flow of your presentation, creativity, and use of class time. I will be collecting everyone’s sheet on Friday.
