Parallelograms are an entirely different class of quadrilaterals when compared to trapezoids.

We compared parallelograms to our previous quadrilateral, the trapezoid and found that the definition of a trapezoid is not as strict since it only asks for one set of parallel lines which gives us more creativity when creating a trapezoid.
